Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of people believe an outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply a broader range of participants contributing to the price discovery process. It's common to see this market diverge from initial sportsbook lines as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event's likelihood. The current implied probability of a particular outcome is reflected in the share price.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Tuzhylin vs. Masko match as determined by the governing sporting body. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their strategies based on the final outcome. The resolution process is designed to be transparent and reliable.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before Sep 12, 2026.
