This market refers to the cricket match between Dambulla Sixers and Kandy Royals scheduled for July 21 2026 in T20 Lanka Premier League. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate the collective belief of traders risking real capital. In this market, traders continuously adjust prices based on new information, team performance data, and match conditions. Comparing prediction market probabilities to traditional sportsbook lines can reveal where one venue perceives greater or lesser likelihood than the other, offering insight into market consensus.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the match outcome, and the price you see reflects the cumulative trading activity and current belief among participants. As more traders buy or sell, the price adjusts automatically. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens or widens based on volume and volatility, directly influencing your entry and exit costs when trading this market.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final match result as confirmed through official sources and widely reported coverage. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as traders react to team news, injury updates, weather conditions, and live match developments. Resolution is automatic once the event is complete and the outcome is clear.
Several catalysts can shift prices in this market before Jul 28, 2026. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp moves. Weather forecasts and pitch conditions reported closer to match day influence trader positioning. Live match momentum—early wickets, aggressive batting, or bowling breakthroughs—drives real-time repricing as the event unfolds. Media commentary, expert analysis, and social sentiment can also sway trader confidence. Any unexpected news about venue, scheduling, or player availability will be reflected immediately in the market price.
