This event group covers three related prediction markets on the T20 Blast cricket match between Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire scheduled for June 28, 2026. Markets include: (1) match winner, (2) whether the match is completed, and (3) toss winner. All markets reference ESPNCricinfo as the primary resolution source.
This market refers to the cricket match between Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire scheduled for June 28 2026 in T20 Blast. This market resolves according to the finalized match result as published by https://www.espncricinfo.com/. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Resolution depends on the match outcome as declared by the governing body. If either team wins, the corresponding market resolves to Yes. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation with no official winner declared, all markets resolve to $0.50. Forfeits, disqualifications, or concessions occurring before play begins result in $0.50 resolution; if they occur after play has begun and an official winner is declared, resolution follows that result. If play commences but insufficient play occurs to determine an official result, all markets resolve to $0.50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures. Kalshi's regulatory framework and user base may price the match winner differently than Polymarket's international audience. Additionally, the two platforms may be tracking slightly different outcome definitions or have different settlement timelines, creating arbitrage opportunities. Price gaps typically narrow as informed traders exploit them, but temporary divergences reflect the decentralized nature of prediction markets and varying access to real-time information.
Key catalysts include team news—injuries to star players, lineup changes, or late withdrawals can shift odds significantly. Weather conditions at the venue may favor one side's strengths. Toss outcome, once announced, often triggers sharp repricing if one team has a strong record chasing or batting first. Recent form, head-to-head records, and any last-minute tactical announcements will also influence trader positioning. Early momentum during the match itself typically drives the most dramatic price swings as live data flows in.
