This event group tracks the total runs scored by both teams in the KBO baseball game between SSG Landers and Samsung Lions, scheduled for August 20 at 6:00AM ET. The markets differ in their thresholds for resolving outcomes based on the total runs scored.
The event evaluates whether the combined runs scored by the SSG Landers and Samsung Lions in their college baseball game on August 20, 2026, exceed specified thresholds. Four distinct markets correspond to different run totals: over 5.5 runs, over 7.5 runs, over 9.5 runs, and over 11.5 runs. For each market, if the total runs scored by both teams surpass the respective threshold during the game originally scheduled for the stated date and time, the market resolves to 'Yes.' Each market operates independently, meaning the resolution of one does not affect the others. All markets share the same underlying game and time, but the outcome is determined solely by whether the cumulative runs meet or exceed each individual threshold. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between SSG Landers and Samsung Lions, scheduled for August 20 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "SSG Landers" if the SSG Landers win the game. This market will resolve to "Samsung Lions" if the Samsung Lions win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
On Kalshi and Predict, prices can diverge because each platform attracts different types of traders and uses unique liquidity models. Kalshi and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For example, one venue might have deeper liquidity around certain outcomes, pushing its implied probability higher. Additionally, trading activity and sentiment shifts can move prices independently, especially with low overall volume of $31,188. These factors combine to create distinct pricing landscapes even for the same underlying question.
Injuries to key players, weather delays affecting game length, or last-minute lineup changes could all shift this market. Any update that influences run-scoring potential — like a star pitcher being pulled or a sudden rainout — may cause rapid price swings. Traders will also watch betting trends on Kalshi and Predict, as large bets can move implied probabilities before the first pitch is thrown.
