This prediction aggregates data from Polymarket and Kalshi, and will resolve based on Official MLS statistics or recognized governing body records. Keep an eye on the match itself, scheduled for August 19, 2026, as the final score after 90 minutes will determine the outcome.
In the upcoming MLS game between Sporting Kansas City and St. Louis City SC, scheduled for August 19, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Sporting Kansas City vs. St. Louis City SC match originally scheduled for August 19, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
All markets resolve based on the official point differential if Kansas defeats LIU in the college football game scheduled for September 4, 2026. A 'Yes' outcome occurs when Kansas's victory margin exceeds the specified threshold for each respective market. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain active and resolve according to the final result. Should the game fail to start within this 48-hour window, all markets settle at a fair price, ensuring equitable treatment for all participants regardless of the specific spread threshold.
Prediction market odds often reflect sharper, more granular views than traditional sportsbooks because they update continuously based on real-time trader activity. In this market, for instance, the implied probabilities can diverge noticeably from sportsbook lines, especially on niche outcomes like exact scores. Traders may also react faster to new information, such as lineup changes or weather updates, which can move prices before sportsbooks adjust.
Key events like starting XI announcements, weather forecasts, or recent form can shift trader sentiment and move this market. Injuries to star players or tactical changes may increase the perceived chance of certain scores, while broader factors like home-field advantage or recent head-to-head results also influence pricing. Any last-minute news closer to kickoff often triggers rapid adjustments.
