Sportsbooks set their odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there’s significant public interest or disagreement about the likely outcome. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd diverges from professional oddsmakers, potentially identifying undervalued opportunities.
