Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while prediction markets aim to reflect the true probability of an event as determined by traders. This means that, all else being equal, prediction market odds can sometimes be more favorable to bettors. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information, market biases, or varying levels of liquidity. It's always wise to compare odds from multiple sources before making a decision.
