Scotland and England will compete in a Women's T20 World Cup cricket match on June 20, 2026. These markets track whether Scotland or England will exceed specific run thresholds during their respective innings.
Resolution is based on the total runs scored by each team in the Scotland vs England Women's T20 World Cup match scheduled for June 20, 2026 at 1:30 PM EDT. If the match is cancelled before play begins or delayed more than 48 hours from the scheduled start time, all markets resolve to fair market price as determined by the Exchange. If play begins but no official result is declared (including via DLS), markets resolve to fair market price except for statistics already definitively achieved, which resolve on recorded results. If the match is shortened with an official result declared via DLS or another ICC-approved method, statistical markets resolve based on actual recorded statistics only, without projections or adjustments.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders seeking to profit on accuracy. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders have direct financial incentives to identify mispricings. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news. Comparing the two can reveal valuable arbitrage opportunities or consensus shifts in how the market views team run totals.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders for shares representing different run-total outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the balance of supply and demand; as more traders buy shares predicting higher or lower runs, the price adjusts upward or downward. This continuous repricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and trader conviction. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices move and how tight the bid-ask spread remains.
This market resolves around Jun 20, 2026, once the Scotland vs England match concludes and the final run totals are confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources reporting the official match statistics. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as traders update their positions based on live match developments, team form, injury news, and other relevant signals. Early resolution is possible if circumstances make the event outcome certain before the scheduled end date.
Several catalysts can shift prices in this market before Jun 20, 2026. Team roster announcements, injury updates, or lineup changes can alter expectations for run-scoring capacity. Weather forecasts—particularly wind and temperature—affect ball flight and scoring conditions. Recent form, head-to-head records, and venue-specific statistics also influence trader positioning. Expert commentary and betting syndicate activity may signal new information. Live match developments, such as early wickets or aggressive batting, will drive real-time repricing as traders adjust their run-total forecasts. Monitoring these signals helps you anticipate market moves.
