Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) for Pharco FC vs. Haras El Hodood SC on April 13, 2026, within 90 minutes plus stoppage time, using the same primary source (Egyptian Football Association or credible reporting consensus).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) at efa.com.eg, or consensus of credible reporting if EFA does not publish final statistics within 2 hours after match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the outcome of the match within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (excluding extra time and penalties).
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Pharco FC wins, Haras El Hodood SC wins, or the match ends in a draw.
Polymarket's three binary markets (Pharco win, Haras El Hodood win, draw) will each resolve to exactly one YES and two NO across the group.
Kalshi's single market resolves YES for any of the three outcomes (tie, Pharco win, or El Hodood win), confirming the match will be completed.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's market resolves YES (match outcome will occur eventually or cancellation is treated as a resolved event).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets on both platforms remain open until the match is completed. Resolution is delayed but not altered.
Match Cancellation Without Make-Up: Polymarket treats cancellation as a draw (draw market YES, win markets NO). Kalshi treats any final outcome (including cancellation) as a resolved event (YES). Both platforms ultimately resolve, though Polymarket's draw interpretation differs from a typical match outcome.
Resolution Source Fallback: If the EFA does not publish official statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, both platforms fall back to consensus of credible reporting sources. This ensures resolution even if official sources are delayed.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official EFA announcement of the final match result, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are unavailable. Markets remain open during postponements and resolve only upon match completion or cancellation.
