The market resolves on Jun 28, 2026, after the Panama vs. England match concludes. Resolution is determined by the official final card count from the match—specifically, whether the total number of yellow and red cards issued to both teams combined reaches 4 or higher. The outcome is binary: if 4 or more cards are shown, the YES outcome resolves to 100 cents; if fewer than 4 cards are shown, the NO outcome resolves to 100 cents. Official match records from the governing football authority serve as the settlement source.
Key catalysts include team lineup announcements—aggressive or defensive formations shift card expectations. Referee assignment matters significantly; stricter officials tend to issue more cards. Recent disciplinary records of key players, especially repeat offenders, influence trader positioning. Pre-match news about injuries or suspensions can alter team aggression levels. Weather conditions and pitch quality may affect play intensity. As match day nears, social media sentiment and expert punditry often trigger volume spikes. Finally, any late tactical adjustments or coaching changes can reshape expectations about how physical the contest will be.
