This market covers the first-round tennis match between Mariano Navone and Flavio Cobolli at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament. Traders predict the exact set score by which one player will defeat the other in this best-of-five-sets competition.
The market resolves based on the final set score of the Mariano Navone vs Flavio Cobolli match at 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 128. If the match does not occur due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation before play begins, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires during the match, any market that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play will resolve accordingly; markets that cannot be unconditionally settled resolve to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader conviction and real-money risk. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper pricing on niche outcomes—such as exact tennis scores—because traders with specialized knowledge compete directly. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal where the crowd sees value or disagreement.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for each exact-score outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of any outcome reflects the last executed trade and the current spread between buy and sell orders. As more traders participate, liquidity deepens and the bid-ask spread typically tightens, making prices more efficient. Kalshi's matching engine continuously updates prices in real time, so the implied probability of each score outcome shifts with every trade, allowing you to enter or exit at the best available price.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the Navone vs Cobolli match concludes and the final set score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of sets won by each player in their head-to-head contest. No partial or disputed results will settle the market; only the official, confirmed final score triggers resolution. Traders holding shares in the winning exact-score outcome receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match begins. Injury reports or withdrawal announcements involving either player would dramatically reprrice all outcomes. Recent tournament results, ranking changes, or head-to-head history releases may prompt traders to reassess probability. Court surface type and weather conditions announced closer to match day often influence set-length expectations. Betting syndicate activity or sharp money flowing into specific score outcomes can also signal informed positioning. As the match date approaches, any news about player form, mental state, or tactical adjustments will likely trigger trading volume spikes and price movement.
