Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by individuals trading on their own beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a particular score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate predictions, as the collective intelligence of the market weighs in on the event’s probability. It's important to compare both to gain a comprehensive view.

Any news regarding player injuries, team formations, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact perceived probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role. Major events in the broader football landscape, even those not directly involving these teams, could indirectly affect this market as well, influencing overall trader risk appetite.
