Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective that differs from traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If there's a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the crowd perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has more informed traders. It's important to consider both sources of information when forming your own opinion about the Suzuki vs Kulphisanrat match.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where shares are bought and sold, adjusting the price based on supply and demand. As more traders believe Ko Suzuki will win, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa for Zitawe Kulphisanrat.
