On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where users buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether a golfer will finish in the top 5. As more people buy shares in a particular golfer, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher implied probability of success. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, and traders are constantly updating their assessments based on new information, such as recent performance, course conditions, and weather forecasts. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds are always current and reflect the collective intelligence of the traders.
