On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing reflects the collective intelligence of the market participants.
This market resolves around Sep 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on which team wins the second half of the London City Lionesses vs. Brighton and Hove Albion WFC match, or if the second half ends in a draw. The final result will be determined by official match data and verified against established sports reporting sources, ensuring a transparent and reliable resolution process.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced before the second half could significantly shift the odds. Real-time performance during the first half of the match, such as goals scored or key player performances, will also likely drive trading volume and price fluctuations. Unexpected weather conditions or refereeing decisions during the second half itself could also impact the outcome and, therefore, the market.
