Description

This market refers to the LoL Lower bracket quarterfinal 2 match between Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition and Misa Esports in the EMEA Masters Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 7 at 10:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition" if Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition win the match against Misa Esports. This market will resolve to "Misa Esports" if Misa Esports win the match against Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Issue:

Kalshi and Polymarket use fundamentally different resolution scopes. Kalshi's market resolves on whether over 2.5 maps are played in the match (a series-level metric), while Polymarket's markets resolve on specific in-game events within individual games (first blood, dragon slays, baron kills, inhibitor destruction, kill counts, and multi-kills). These are orthogonal resolution frameworks with no logical overlap.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you are betting on series length (2 games vs 3 games). If you trade on Polymarket, you are betting on granular in-game mechanics. A Kalshi YES (3+ games played) does not predict any specific Polymarket outcome. Conversely, knowing the result of a Polymarket game-specific market tells you nothing about Kalshi's series-length resolution. Treat these as completely independent prediction markets.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Distinct stance: Kalshi resolves on series length only. The single Kalshi market asks whether over 2.5 maps (games) are played, resolving YES if 3+ games occur and NO if 2 or fewer games are played. Resolution source is gol.gg. This platform makes no statement about in-game events.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket resolves on 25 separate in-game event markets spanning all three potential games. These include first blood by team per game, dragon/baron/inhibitor destruction by both teams per game, kill parity (odd/even total kills) per game, multi-kill occurrences (quadra/penta kills) per game, individual game winners, series winner, series game count (O/U 2.5), and game handicap. Resolution source is gol.gg with credible reporting fallback. Polymarket makes no statement about series length as a standalone metric.
