Description

This market refers to the LoL match between Nongshim Esports Academy and KT Rolster Challengers in the LCK Challengers League Rounds 1-2, initially scheduled for April 16 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Nongshim Esports Academy" if Nongshim Esports Academy win the match against KT Rolster Challengers. This market will resolve to "KT Rolster Challengers" if KT Rolster Challengers win the match against Nongshim Esports Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the outcome of the LoL match between Nongshim Esports Academy and KT Rolster Challengers in the LCK Challengers League, with identical winner determination logic and shared resolution source (gol.gg).

Primary resolution logic:

Official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home; if unavailable within 2 hours post-event, consensus of credible reporting including video evidence.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team that wins the best-of-3 series (first to 2 games).
  • All game-specific markets (Game 1/2/3 winners, objective counts, kill statistics) resolve based on completed games only.
  • If a game is not completed for any reason (forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or series clinch before game is needed), that game's markets resolve 50-50.
  • If the entire match is canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play beginning, or ends in a tie, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Games won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward series total and handicap calculations if the match is completed.
  • Objective-based markets (dragons, barons, inhibitors) require both teams to achieve the condition; if either team does not meet it, market resolves No.
  • Multikill markets (Quadra/Penta) resolve Yes if any player on either team achieves the specified kill count; Penta Kills also satisfy Quadra Kill conditions.
  • Kill parity markets (Odd/Even) count only champion kills; executions do not count.
  • Kalshi's binary Yes/No format aligns with Polymarket's winner-based resolution: Yes if either team wins (guaranteed one winner per match).

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Series Clinch Before Game 3: If one team wins 2-0, Game 3 is not played. All Game 3 markets resolve 50-50. The O/U 2.5 Games market resolves Under, and the series winner market resolves to the clinching team.
  • Game Remade Mid-Series: If a game is remade (technical issue, server crash), resolution is based on the remade game only. The original game is disregarded for all market purposes.
  • Incomplete Game with Surrender: If a game begins but ends via surrender before completion, objective and multikill markets resolve based on state at surrender time. If the condition was not met, market resolves No (or 50-50 for game winner if no winner was determined).
  • Forfeit/Disqualification/Walkover: If the match ends via forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before any games are played, the series winner market resolves 50-50. If one team forfeits after games have been played, the series resolves to the non-forfeiting team.
  • Delayed Match Beyond 7 Days: If the match is delayed more than 7 days from the scheduled April 16, 1:00 AM ET date without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication of match results on gol.gg within 2 hours of event conclusion; if unavailable, upon consensus of credible reporting. Game-specific markets resolve upon completion of the respective game. Series markets resolve upon determination of the match winner (first team to 2 wins).
