This event group covers a single KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) regular season game between LG Twins and Kia Tigers scheduled for June 17, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. Both Polymarket and Kalshi have created markets to predict the outcome of this matchup.
This is a market on the KBO baseball game between LG Twins and Kia Tigers, scheduled for June 17 at 5:30AM ET. This market will resolve to "LG Twins" if the LG Twins win the game. This market will resolve to "Kia Tigers" if the Kia Tigers win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the KBO. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Resolution is based on the final result of the LG Twins vs Kia Tigers Korea KBO game originally scheduled for June 17, 2026 at 5:30 AM EDT. If the game is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled game concludes within two days. Should the game be cancelled or rescheduled beyond two days, the market resolves to a fair price per official rules. In the event of a tie, the market resolves 50/50.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different prices on the same event for several reasons. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts distinct trader demographics, liquidity pools, and fee structures, which influence how quickly prices converge to fair value. Polymarket may draw more volume in certain regions or trader types, while Kalshi appeals to different segments. Latency in arbitrage, differences in order-book depth, and platform-specific rules around trading hours or settlement also create temporary spreads. These gaps typically narrow as sophisticated traders exploit mispricings, but during low-liquidity windows, meaningful divergence can persist, rewarding alert traders who monitor both venues.
Several catalysts can shift prices before the game kicks off. Lineup announcements, injury updates to key players, and roster changes will trigger immediate repricing as traders reassess win probability. Weather conditions at the stadium, recent team form, and head-to-head historical matchups also influence sentiment. Live game action—early runs, errors, or momentum swings—will cause sharp intraday moves as traders update their forecasts in real time. Breaking news about player availability or coaching decisions can spark sudden volatility. Traders monitoring social media, team official accounts, and KBO press releases will spot these signals first and capitalize on the resulting price movements before consensus catches up.
