On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective confidence of all participants; as more traders buy shares for a given outcome, that outcome's price rises and its implied probability increases. You can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and your trade executes against the liquidity pool. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects real-time sentiment about who will win.
This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result—specifically, which player wins the ITF The Hague tournament match. Once the event is confirmed through reliable sources, the market settles automatically and traders' positions are finalized based on the actual winner. Early resolution is possible if the match is cancelled or declared a no-contest under official tournament rules.
Several factors can shift odds before Jul 16, 2026. Recent player form, injury reports, head-to-head records, and court surface conditions all influence trader positioning. News about either player's fitness, coaching changes, or performance in warm-up tournaments can trigger sharp price moves. Tournament seeding, draw position, and momentum from earlier rounds also matter. As match day approaches, any official updates from the ITF or credible tennis media may cause rapid repricing. Close matches between evenly-ranked players typically see volatile odds as new information emerges.
