Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, and can sometimes differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the players’ form and potential. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, potentially offering a more up-to-date assessment of the likely outcome.
