Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows bettors to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of 37 or more total games. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of both markets. If significant differences exist, arbitrage opportunities may emerge, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the outcome of 37 or more total games. The price of a contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders can place limit orders to buy or sell at specific prices, or market orders to execute trades immediately at the best available price. The more traders believe 37 or more games will occur, the higher the price will climb, and vice versa.

This market resolves around Sep 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final game count of the Auger-Aliassime vs Khachanov match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match statistics, determining whether the total number of games played reaches or exceeds 37. The platform will then automatically settle all outstanding contracts based on the verified result. Traders holding contracts representing the correct outcome will receive a payout.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. News regarding player fitness, such as an injury to either Auger-Aliassime or Khachanov, would likely cause significant movement. Changes in playing surface conditions, or even weather forecasts if the match is outdoors, could also affect expectations about the match length. Additionally, early performance in the match itself – a quick first set, for example – will likely drive trading activity and adjust the market price as traders react to the unfolding events.
