Description
This event group covers a Best-of-3 Dota 2 match between Team Liquid and BetBoom Team in the PGL Wallachia Group Stage, scheduled for March 7, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. Markets span match outcome, individual game winners, series length, handicaps, and granular in-game metrics (kills, Roshan kills, barracks destruction, Ultra Kills, Rampages, day/night cycle timing, and First Blood).
Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Kalshi and Polymarket apply identical cancellation, delay, and forfeit thresholds (7-day rule, 50-50 on no-play scenarios), count forfeits consistently once play has begun, and defer to DotaBuff as primary source with credible reporting fallback. All in-game metrics and series outcomes follow the same edge-case logic across platforms.
Primary resolution logic:
DotaBuff (https://www.dotabuff.com); if results not published within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence.
Core resolution logic:
Match winner (series outcome) resolves to the team that wins 2 games in the BO3; if match is canceled or delayed beyond 7 days without completion, resolves 50-50.
Individual game winners resolve to the team that wins that specific game; if a game is never played due to forfeit/disqualification before play begins, resolves 50-50; if a game begins but is incomplete, resolves 50-50 unless one team wins via opponent forfeit/disqualification after play has started (then resolves to the winning team).
Games Total (O/U 2.5) resolves Over if 3+ games are played, Under if fewer than 3; forfeits/walkovers count if the series is completed; if series is canceled or incomplete, resolves 50-50.
Handicap markets (Liquid -1.5 vs BetBoom +1.5, and vice versa) resolve based on the margin of games won; forfeits/walkovers count toward the margin if series is completed; if series is canceled or incomplete, resolves 50-50.
In-game metrics (kills, Roshan, barracks, Ultra Kills, Rampages, day/night timing, First Blood) resolve based on the actual in-game state of the completed game; if a game is never played, resolves 50-50; if a game begins but is incomplete and ends via forfeit, resolution is based on the state prior to stoppage (e.g., if Ultra Kill occurred before forfeit, resolves Yes; if not, resolves No).
Remade games: resolution is based on the remade game only (prior state is discarded).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match canceled or delayed beyond 7 days: All markets resolve 50-50 if the match is not played at all or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined.
Forfeit/disqualification before play begins: Series-level markets (match winner, games total, handicap) resolve 50-50. In-game metrics resolve 50-50 for that game.
Forfeit/disqualification after play begins: If one team wins due to opponent forfeit/disqualification after play has started, series-level markets resolve to the winning team. In-game metrics for that game resolve based on the state prior to stoppage (e.g., kills, Roshan, barracks, Ultra Kills, Rampages, First Blood are counted if they occurred; day/night timing is based on the in-game clock at stoppage).
Game incomplete (no forfeit): Series-level markets resolve 50-50. In-game metrics resolve 50-50.
First Blood never occurs in a completed game: First Blood market resolves 50-50.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon match completion (all games played and winner determined) or upon cancellation/delay beyond 7 days. DotaBuff data is checked within 2 hours of event conclusion; if unavailable, credible reporting and video evidence are used.
