Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round 1 match between ShindeN and Procyon Gaming in the ESL Challenger League South America Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 26 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "ShindeN" if ShindeN win the match against Procyon Gaming. This market will resolve to "Procyon Gaming" if Procyon Gaming win the match against ShindeN. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Kalshi and Polymarket share identical resolution logic for match completion, source hierarchy, edge case handling (forfeits, cancellations, delays), and map-level statistics definitions.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official); credible consensus reporting with video evidence if HLTV.org unavailable within 2 hours post-event

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves based on which team wins the best-of-3 series (first to 2 maps)
  • Individual map winners resolve based on which team wins that specific map
  • Series length (O/U 2.5 maps) resolves to Over if 3 maps are played, Under if fewer than 3
  • Map-level statistics (kills, rounds) count all kills/rounds in that map including overtime, excluding team kills and self-inflicted deaths
  • Forfeit/disqualification/walkover occurring before play begins: series resolves 50-50; if mid-series, the winning team is credited
  • Map clinched by forfeit counts as a completed map toward series total
  • Handicap (-1.5/+1.5) resolves to ShindeN if they win 2+ more maps than Procyon Gaming; otherwise Procyon Gaming

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Match canceled or not played: Series resolves 50-50; all map-specific markets resolve 50-50
  • Match delayed beyond 7 days without winner determined: Series resolves 50-50; all map-specific markets resolve 50-50
  • Map not played due to series clinch: Map-specific markets (winner, kills, rounds) for that map resolve 50-50
  • Map remade: Resolution based on remade game only
  • Forfeit/walkover/disqualification before match begins: Series resolves 50-50; no maps are credited

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon completion of the match (determination of series winner) or upon expiration of the 7-day delay window from scheduled date (April 26, 2026 5:00 PM EDT). HLTV.org publication or credible consensus must be available within 2 hours of event conclusion for timely settlement.
