Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Round 1 match between Players and R2 Esports Club in the CCT South America Series #1 Group Stage, initially scheduled for April 29 at 12:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Players" if Players win the match against R2 Esports Club. This market will resolve to "R2 Esports Club" if R2 Esports Club win the match against Players. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Kalshi and Polymarket apply identical resolution logic: HLTV.org as primary source, 2-hour publication window, 7-day delay threshold, 50-50 default for cancellations/forfeits/incomplete matches, and counting of forfeit/disqualification/walkover maps toward totals.

Primary resolution logic:

Official HLTV.org match data; credible consensus reporting (including video evidence) if HLTV does not publish final results within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (Players vs R2 Esports Club) resolves to the team winning 2 maps in the best-of-three series.
  • Individual map winners (Map 1, Map 2) resolve to the team winning that specific map, provided the map is completed with a winner determined.
  • Map statistics (odd/even total kills, odd/even total rounds) resolve based on combined team totals for that map, including overtime rounds; team kills and self-inflicted deaths excluded from kill counts.
  • Series length (Games Total O/U 2.5) resolves to Over if 3 or more maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played.
  • Map Handicap (Players -1.5 vs R2 Esports Club +1.5) resolves to Players if Players win 2 or more maps than R2 Esports Club; otherwise resolves to R2 Esports Club.
  • Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward all totals provided the match is completed.
  • If a series clinches before Map 3 is needed (e.g., one team wins 2-0), Map 3 markets resolve 50-50.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Cancellation or Delay Beyond 7 Days: If the match is canceled entirely or delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date (April 29, 2026) without play beginning, all markets resolve 50-50.
  • Incomplete Map or Series: If a map begins but is not completed, markets for that map resolve 50-50 unless a winner is determined (e.g., opponent forfeits mid-map). If the series begins but is not completed due to match forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, series-level markets resolve 50-50; however, if one team wins due to opponent forfeiture and the match is deemed completed, the winning team is credited.
  • Forfeit, Disqualification, or Walkover: Maps won by forfeit, disqualification, walkover, or default count toward series totals and map counts. However, if the entire match ends via forfeit/disqualification/walkover before play begins, the match outcome resolves 50-50. If the clinching map is forfeited, the match is counted as completed and the forfeiting team loses.
  • Map Remakes: If a map is remade, resolution is based on the remade game only; the original result is disregarded.
  • No Kills or Zero Rounds Recorded: If no kills are recorded in a map, or if a map records zero rounds, kill/round odd-even markets for that map resolve 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs within 2 hours of official event conclusion per HLTV.org publication; if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours, credible consensus reporting is used. The scheduled match date is April 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT; the 7-day delay threshold extends to May 6, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT.
