Description

This market refers to the Counter-Strike Upper bracket round 1 match between MIBR Academy and Fluxo W7M in the ESL Challenger League South America Cup #4 Playoffs, initially scheduled for April 26 at 5:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "MIBR Academy" if MIBR Academy win the match against Fluxo W7M. This market will resolve to "Fluxo W7M" if Fluxo W7M win the match against MIBR Academy. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://hltv.org. However, if https://hltv.org has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All Polymarket and Kalshi markets share identical resolution sources (HLTV.org primary, credible reporting secondary), matching cancellation/delay thresholds (7 days), and consistent treatment of forfeits, walkovers, and incomplete matches.

Primary resolution logic:

HLTV.org (official match results); credible reporting and video evidence if HLTV does not publish within 2 hours of match conclusion

Core resolution logic:

  • Match winner resolves to the team winning the best-of-3 series (first to 2 maps)
  • Individual map winners (Map 1, 2, 3) resolve based on the team winning that specific map if played
  • Maps are counted inclusively: regulation rounds, overtime rounds, and maps won by forfeit/disqualification/default all count toward series total, provided match is completed
  • Total maps over/under 2.5 resolves Over if 3+ maps are played, Under if fewer than 3 maps are played
  • Odd/even kills and rounds are calculated as total combined kills/rounds across both teams, excluding team kills and self-inflicted deaths
  • Map handicap (Fluxo W7M -1.5 vs MIBR Academy +1.5) resolves to Fluxo W7M if they win 2+ more maps than MIBR Academy; otherwise MIBR Academy
  • If match begins but is incomplete and one team wins via opponent forfeiture/disqualification/walkover during play, match winner resolves to winning team; all other incomplete scenarios resolve 50-50
  • If match is forfeited, disqualified, or walked over before start, match winner resolves 50-50

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Cancellation or 7+ day delay without play: Match winner, map totals, and handicap resolve 50-50. Individual map markets resolve 50-50 if the map is not played.
  • Series already decided before Map 2 or Map 3: Odd/even kills and rounds for unplayed maps resolve 50-50. Map winner markets for unplayed maps resolve 50-50.
  • Map remade or replayed: Resolution is based on the remade/replayed game only, not the original.
  • Forfeit during clinching map: Counts as a completed match; map winner and series winner resolve to the non-forfeiting team.
  • No kills recorded in a map: Odd/even kills market for that map resolves 50-50.

Timing:

Resolution occurs after match conclusion and official HLTV.org publication (or within 2 hours via credible reporting). Markets settle immediately upon determination of final series result.
