The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader consensus and real-money skin-in-the-game. Prediction markets can sometimes price outcomes more efficiently than traditional sportsbooks, especially when new information emerges or when the crowd identifies mispriced scenarios. Comparing the two can reveal where sharp traders see value relative to conventional betting markets.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds for each exact-score outcome through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders back a particular scoreline, the higher its price climbs; conversely, reduced demand lowers it. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures that the market reflects the collective assessment of all participants in real time, with each exact-score option trading as an independent contract that resolves to either 1 or 0 depending on the final result.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the match between Capibaribe and Juventude has concluded and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regulation time; whichever exact-score contract matches the official final result will resolve to 1, while all other outcomes resolve to 0. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the match ending, pending confirmation from official league records or reputable sports data providers.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup changes, or managerial decisions announced before kickoff. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day can all shift trader expectations about the likely scoreline. Late-breaking betting action from sharp bettors, social media sentiment, and expert predictions may also influence prices. As the match approaches, real-time developments—such as an early goal or a red card—will cause rapid repricing once the game begins, though this market settles only on the final whistle.
