Description

This market refers to the Call of Duty match between Vancouver Surge and Carolina Royal Ravens in the Call of Duty League Stage 3 Major Qualifiers Qualifiers, initially scheduled for April 18 at 7:30PM ET. This market will resolve to "Vancouver Surge" if Vancouver Surge win the match against Carolina Royal Ravens. This market will resolve to "Carolina Royal Ravens" if Carolina Royal Ravens win the match against Vancouver Surge. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms apply identical resolution logic: markets resolve based on match outcomes reported by Liquipedia, with 50-50 fallback for cancellations, delays beyond 7 days without play, incomplete matches without a determined winner, or forfeits/walkovers/disqualifications.

Primary resolution logic:

https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page (official Call of Duty League records), with consensus of credible reporting and video evidence as secondary source if Liquipedia does not publish within 2 hours of event conclusion.

Core resolution logic:

  • Match Winner (BO5): Resolves to the team winning the best-of-five series; 50-50 if canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, ends in tie, or incomplete without a winner determined.
  • Individual Game Winners (Games 1-4): Each resolves to the team winning that specific game; 50-50 if that game is not completed for any reason or if the match is canceled/delayed beyond 7 days without play.
  • Games Total Over/Under (3.5 and 4.5): Over resolves if 4+ games (for 3.5) or 5+ games (for 4.5) are played; Under resolves if fewer games are played; 50-50 if match canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, ends in tie, or incomplete without a winner determined.
  • Game Handicap markets (CRR -1.5 and -2.5): Resolve based on game differential; CRR wins if margin is 2+ games (-1.5) or 3+ games (-2.5); 50-50 if match canceled, delayed beyond 7 days without play, ends in tie, or incomplete without a winner determined.
  • Forfeits, disqualifications, and walkovers count toward totals and handicaps if match is completed; if match is incomplete due to forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, those markets resolve 50-50.
  • Kalshi binary (Yes/No): Resolves Yes if either team wins the match; resolves No only if match does not occur or is not completed.

Edge cases & Clarifications:

  • Incomplete Match with Clinching Game Forfeited: If the match ends due to the clinching game being forfeited, this counts as a completed match for Games Total and Handicap markets; however, the individual game market for that forfeited game resolves 50-50.
  • Match Begins but Incomplete Without Winner: If the match begins but is not completed and no team wins by forfeiture/disqualification/walkover, all markets resolve 50-50. If one team wins by forfeiture/disqualification/walkover during an incomplete match, the match winner market resolves to that team, but Games Total and Handicap markets resolve 50-50.
  • Secondary Resolution Source Timing: If Liquipedia does not publish final results within 2 hours of event conclusion, consensus of credible reporting and video evidence may be used; this applies uniformly across all markets.
  • Team Name Discrepancies: Minor spelling variations, abbreviations, sponsor tags, and formatting differences (e.g., CRR vs Carolina Royal Ravens, Vancouver Surge vs Surge) are treated as the same team; resolution is based on the underlying real-world match, not exact name matching.

Timing:

Resolution occurs upon official publication by Liquipedia within 2 hours of match conclusion, or upon consensus of credible reporting if Liquipedia is delayed; 7-day delay threshold applies for cancellation/postponement scenarios.
