Description

This market refers to the Call of Duty match between Riyadh Falcons and OpTic Texas in the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major Qualifiers Qualifiers, initially scheduled for March 21 at 6:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "Riyadh Falcons" if Riyadh Falcons win the match against OpTic Texas. This market will resolve to "OpTic Texas" if OpTic Texas win the match against Riyadh Falcons. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/callofduty/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue:

Polymarket defines a complete match outcome market with detailed resolution rules covering cancellations, forfeits, and tie scenarios, while Kalshi provides only a binary YES/NO framework with no explicit resolution criteria, making Kalshi's market fundamentally unresolvable without clarification of what constitutes a valid match completion.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Kalshi, you face critical ambiguity: Kalshi does not specify whether a forfeit, walkover, or incomplete match counts as a 'win' for settlement purposes. Polymarket explicitly resolves forfeits to 50-50, but Kalshi is silent. Avoid Kalshi until resolution criteria are published, or expect potential disputes at settlement.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket:

Outlier: Polymarket provides comprehensive resolution logic with explicit handling of match completion, forfeits, disqualifications, walkovers, cancellations, and tie scenarios. Core rule: 'This market will resolve to Riyadh Falcons if Riyadh Falcons win the match against OpTic Texas' with detailed fallback: 'If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50.' Polymarket also specifies a 2-hour window for Liquipedia publication before consensus reporting is used.
  • Kalshi:

Outlier: Kalshi provides only a minimal binary framework with no explicit resolution criteria: 'If Riyadh Falcons wins the Call of Duty League Stage 2 Major Qualifiers 2026: OpTic Texas vs. Riyadh Falcons Call of Duty match originally scheduled for Mar 21, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.' Kalshi does not define what constitutes a valid match completion, how forfeits or walkovers are treated, what happens if the match is canceled or delayed, or which source (Liquipedia, consensus, or other) is authoritative.
