Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) within 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 11, 2026, using the same primary source (Premier League official statistics or credible consensus reporting).
Primary resolution logic:
Official Premier League statistics; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus.
Core resolution logic:
Exactly one of three mutually exclusive outcomes will occur: Brentford win, Everton win, or draw.
Each platform offers markets covering all three outcomes; exactly one market per outcome will resolve YES across the group.
Resolution is based on the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only (no extra time or penalties).
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's draw market resolves YES and win markets resolve NO; Kalshi's outcome is determined by whichever result occurred (or none if truly canceled).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Cancellation: Polymarket explicitly states that if the game is canceled entirely with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES. Kalshi does not address cancellation; however, the unified logic assumes the match will be completed as scheduled or rescheduled.
Postponement: Both platforms keep markets open if the match is postponed, with resolution occurring only after the rescheduled match is completed.
Source Timing: Both platforms prioritize official Premier League statistics but allow credible reporting consensus if official stats are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official Premier League announcement of the final match result, or within 2 hours post-match via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
