Kalshi

The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the Brandon Nakashima vs Jack Draper match in the 2026 ATP Eastbourne Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.

Frequently asked questions

This snapshot helps traders assess whether current prices align with their own expectations before placing orders.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on the outcome. Prediction markets can sometimes price outcomes more efficiently than traditional sportsbooks because traders continuously adjust positions based on new information. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate sharper professional action and tighter risk management. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception differs from expert consensus on this market.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the marginal probability traders assign to that player winning Set 2, ranging from $0 to $1. As new information emerges—such as court conditions, player form, or injury updates—traders adjust their orders, causing prices to move. The spread between bid and ask prices indicates liquidity; tighter spreads suggest higher confidence and more active trading, while wider spreads may signal uncertainty or lower participation.

This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the second set of the Nakashima vs Draper match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official result of Set 2 alone; the overall match result does not affect this market's settlement. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout once the event is confirmed and the platform processes settlement. Early resolution is possible if the match is abandoned or the set is not played, depending on Kalshi's specific event rules.

Several factors can shift odds before this market resolves. Real-time match performance—breaks of serve, set momentum, and player confidence—typically drives the largest price swings. Pre-match developments such as injury reports, surface conditions, or recent head-to-head form can also trigger significant moves. Weather delays or scheduling changes may introduce uncertainty. Player fatigue from earlier rounds and tactical adjustments between sets can reshape trader expectations. Social media sentiment and expert commentary sometimes influence retail traders, creating secondary waves of buying or selling. Close set scores tend to keep odds competitive and volatile until the final points.
