These markets track specific combinations of outcomes between the first half and the full game result in an upcoming professional football match. Each market requires both the first half result and the final game result to match the specified conditions for resolution. The outcomes consider possible wins for either team or a tie in the first half, combined with different final game results.
The markets resolve based on the combined outcome of the first half and the full game result, including any overtime periods, of the Baltimore vs Indianapolis Pro Football game scheduled for September 13, 2026. For a market to resolve as Yes, both the specified first half result and the full game result must match exactly. If either the first half or the full game result does not match the market's conditions, it resolves to No. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the markets remain open and resolve based on the official final result. Should the game fail to start within the 48-hour window, the markets will resolve to a fair price. All resolutions are independent of any affiliation between the platform and the governing league, with all trademarks and brand names belonging to their respective owners.
Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s pricing is driven purely by individuals willing to buy or sell based on their own assessments. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced the probability of a particular outcome. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups, and neither is guaranteed to be correct. Analyzing both can offer a more comprehensive view.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing opinions. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more a particular outcome is bought, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to aggregate information efficiently and provide a real-time assessment of the likely result of the game.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Baltimore versus Indianapolis game, specifically the result of the first half and the full-time result as determined by official league sources. The platform will verify the outcome against these sources to ensure accuracy and finalize the market settlement. Traders holding contracts corresponding to the winning outcome will receive a payout, while those holding contracts on losing outcomes will forfeit their investment.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or changes in team strategy would likely cause price fluctuations. Unexpected weather conditions, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also move the market. Furthermore, significant shifts in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or prominent sports commentators, could influence trading activity. Even late-breaking news about coaching decisions or team morale could play a role in how traders price the probabilities of different outcomes. Monitoring these factors can help understand potential market movements.
