This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the professional tennis match between Amanda Anisimova and Lina Gjorcheska at the 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 128 on June 30. The winner of set 2 will determine the market resolution.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 in the Amanda Anisimova vs Lina Gjorcheska match at 2026 Wimbledon Women's Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur before it starts due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms and participant bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than major sportsbooks, particularly if informed traders identify value or if new information reaches the prediction market faster. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential opportunities for sharp bettors.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the balance between buyers and sellers at any given moment, with the spread between bid and ask representing the current market uncertainty. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or injury reports—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to move. This continuous price discovery process ensures the market remains responsive to real-world developments leading up to the match.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the second set of the match concludes. The outcome is determined by verifying the official result against credible public sources, including ATP/WTA records and major sports data providers. Resolution occurs after the match is complete and the winner is confirmed through standard tennis reporting channels. Traders should monitor official match schedules and any announcements regarding postponements or changes to ensure they understand the exact timing.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before resolution. Player injury reports or withdrawal announcements would trigger sharp moves, as would recent performance data or head-to-head records becoming public. Court surface conditions, weather forecasts, and tournament draw information can influence trader expectations. Real-time match developments—such as the first set outcome or early momentum swings—will likely cause significant repricing as traders update their probability estimates. Media coverage and expert commentary may also sway sentiment among retail participants.
