Zeu5 Esports and SDM Tigres compete in the second map of their League of Legends match scheduled for July 18, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by standard competitive League of Legends rules.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 2 in the specified LRN 2026 match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, or if the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, resolution follows the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. Esports betting on specific map outcomes tends to attract specialized prediction market participants who study team performance and map-specific strategies intensively. This can result in sharper, more nuanced odds than traditional sportsbooks offer, though both venues ultimately aim to reflect the true probability of the event.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders at their chosen prices. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The spread between the highest bid and lowest ask reflects the current disagreement on the map outcome's probability. As new information emerges—such as team roster changes, recent performance data, or player form—traders adjust their orders, causing the price to move. This continuous repricing ensures the market reflects the latest consensus among active participants.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, once the Map 2 contest between the two teams concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the map according to official tournament records or broadcast confirmation. Until that point, traders can buy and sell positions to adjust their exposure. Resolution is final once the match result is confirmed and recorded by the esports governing body or event organizer.
Several factors could shift prices in this market before it resolves. Roster announcements or player substitutions affecting either team's composition would likely trigger significant movement. Recent tournament results, scrim performance leaks, or public statements from coaches and players can influence trader sentiment. Map-specific meta shifts or balance patches to the game itself may alter strategic advantages. Additionally, injury reports, visa delays, or other logistical issues affecting team preparation could reshape expectations. Each of these developments provides new information that traders incorporate into their pricing decisions.
