Frequently asked questions

It's common to see differences between prediction market probabilities and those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set odds with a built-in margin for profit, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. If sportsbooks heavily favor one brother, but this market shows a more balanced probability, it suggests traders believe the sportsbook is mispricing the event. These discrepancies can present potential arbitrage opportunities for informed participants.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a brother will win, the higher the price of their corresponding shares will climb. This dynamic pricing ensures the market probabilities constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.

This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Zeniuk brothers match. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which brother emerged victorious. Traders holding shares in the winning brother's outcome will be entitled to a payout, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.

Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding the brothers’ recent performance, training regimens, or potential injuries could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about the match conditions or venue could also play a role. Furthermore, large trading volumes from influential participants could create momentum and drive price movements. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how the probabilities evolve leading up to the Sep 14, 2026 resolution of this market.
