This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the professional tennis match between Zachary Svajda and Kamil Majchrzak at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 64. The winner of set 2 will be determined by standard tennis scoring rules.
Resolution is based on the outcome of set 2 in the Zachary Svajda vs Kamil Majchrzak match at 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 64. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot be settled resolve to fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who buy and sell shares based on their beliefs about the outcome. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because they aggregate dispersed information from many participants. However, sportsbook odds may include promotional adjustments or reflect different liquidity pools. Comparing both can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and offers for shares tied to each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the marginal trade—the last executed order—and moves as new buy and sell orders arrive. Traders can enter limit orders to wait for their preferred price or execute market orders for immediate fills. The implied probability of each outcome is derived directly from its share price, so as trading activity increases or sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time to reflect updated market expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the second set of the Svajda vs Majchrzak match concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by official match records and confirmed through established sports reporting channels. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information—such as player form, court conditions, or live match developments—becomes available. Resolution is automatic once the event result is finalized and verified.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before resolution. Live match performance in the first set will provide concrete evidence of player form, momentum, and court conditions that traders will price in immediately. Injury reports or late withdrawals would trigger sharp repricing. Pre-match statistics, recent head-to-head records, and surface-specific performance data can influence early trading. During the match itself, set momentum, break points, and tactical adjustments will drive continuous price updates. Weather conditions and crowd dynamics may also affect player performance and trader sentiment. Each of these signals allows market participants to refine their predictions and adjust positions accordingly.
