This market tracks the game differential between Zachary Svajda and Kamil Majchrzak in their professional tennis match during the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 64 on July 2. Bettors can wager on whether one player will win by a specified margin of games.
Resolution is based on the game differential across the full match, calculated as the winner's total games minus the loser's total games. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or other cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a retirement occurs, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly. Markets that cannot be unconditionally settled due to retirement resolve to fair market price at the Exchange's sole discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. This market aggregates dispersed information from many participants, which can sometimes surface edges that traditional sportsbooks miss—or lag behind them during fast-moving developments. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks on the spread outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices reflect the consensus of all active traders at any given moment, with the spread between buy and sell orders indicating market confidence and liquidity. As new information emerges or match conditions change, traders adjust their positions, causing prices to move. The continuous price discovery process ensures that the market odds stay responsive to evolving expectations about the final result.
This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, once the match concludes and the final spread is confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources reporting the official result. Until that point, prices will fluctuate based on live match developments, player performance, and any other factors traders believe will influence the final spread. After resolution, positions are settled according to whether the actual spread matched the predicted outcome.
Several factors could shift prices before Jul 2, 2026. Player injury reports, recent form, head-to-head records, and court conditions are traditional catalysts. Live match momentum—breaks of serve, set wins, or injury timeouts—typically trigger sharp repricing as traders update their expectations in real time. News about either player's fitness or mental state can also move odds. Additionally, if one side of the spread attracts heavy volume, the resulting price movement may attract contrarian traders, creating secondary waves of volatility leading up to the final result.
