Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to remember that prediction markets are forward-looking and incorporate new information quickly, potentially leading to faster adjustments than sportsbooks.
