Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance betting action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market’s pricing is driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell based on their individual assessments. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is determined solely by supply and demand; there are no external factors influencing the pricing process. This dynamic pricing allows for a real-time assessment of the likely outcome of the match.

This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the Yokohama FC versus FC Imabari match will be used to determine the winning share(s). Resolution will occur when a definitive result is available and publicly accessible, ensuring transparency and accuracy. The outcome will be based on the official match results reported by recognized sports authorities, and the shares will be settled accordingly.
