If the Yomiuri Giants win, the market will resolve to "Yomiuri Giants". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source will be official information from the NPB. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The market resolves based on the result of the Japan NPB game between Yokohama DeNA BayStars and Tokyo Yakult Swallows originally scheduled for August 16, 2026 at 5:00 AM EDT. If either team wins the game as played, the corresponding market resolves to Yes; if the game ends in a tie, both markets resolve at 50/50. Postponements or delays within two days of the original schedule do not affect resolution timing—the market remains open until the rescheduled game concludes. If the game is cancelled or rescheduled to more than two days after the original date, the market resolves at a fair price. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any official affiliation with the Governing League, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
