Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their odds based on internal models and aim to balance their risk, while this market relies on the collective predictions of individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within the prediction market. It’s common to see prediction markets incorporate information faster than sportsbooks, especially in response to breaking news or late-developing insights about the players involved.
