In the upcoming Belgium Pro League game between Yellow-Red KV Mechelen and RSC Anderlecht, scheduled for September 11, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Yellow-Red KV Mechelen vs. RSC Anderlecht match originally scheduled for September 11, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, sometimes differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of both markets. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, potentially offering an edge to informed traders.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where shares representing each possible exact score are bought and sold. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that score occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to accurately assess the likelihood of each outcome, as profitable trades depend on correctly predicting the final result. The more traders believe a particular score will happen, the higher the price of its corresponding shares will climb.
This market resolves around Sep 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Yellow-Red KV Mechelen versus RSC Anderlecht match will be used to determine the winning shares. Resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a recognized sports data provider, ensuring an objective and transparent outcome. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially verified.
Several factors could significantly shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Mechelen or Anderlecht would likely cause movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before the game, or even significant pre-match betting activity in traditional sportsbooks, could all contribute to shifts in the price of shares in this market.
