Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market aggregates real-money bets from a diverse crowd, which can reveal information gaps or consensus that sportsbooks have not yet priced in. Comparing the two can highlight where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree most sharply.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the marginal cost of the last trade, and as new orders flow in, the odds adjust in real time. Deeper order books and higher volume typically result in tighter spreads and more stable pricing, making it easier to enter or exit positions at fair value.

This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, after the match concludes and the final result is confirmed. The outcome is determined by whether the player scores at least one goal during the match on July 19. Once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting, the market will settle to yes or no, and all positions will be paid out according to their final value.

Key catalysts include team lineup announcements, injury reports, and recent form or goal-scoring trends leading up to July 19. Tactical shifts, weather conditions, or opponent defensive changes can also influence trader expectations. Media coverage and expert analysis may shift market sentiment as the match date approaches. Live updates during the match itself—such as early goals, red cards, or substitutions—will likely trigger sharp price movements as traders reassess the probability in real time.
