On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the price through buying and selling shares of possible outcomes. The current top outcome reflects the majority belief, with its chance displayed as a percentage. Volume and recent trade activity also influence pricing, allowing rapid shifts if notable news about either fighter surfaces or if betting trends change dramatically.
Key signals that could shift this market include injury updates, training performance news, changes in betting volume from large traders, and any public statements from the fighters or coaches. Media coverage, early line movements, and even broader sports sentiment can also influence trader confidence and drive price changes as the event draws nearer.
