On Polymarket and Kalshi, pricing models, user bases, and liquidity can vary widely, creating divergent odds for this market. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, differing trading volumes or regional fan interest may push one platform’s probabilities away from the other’s. These gaps often shrink as the event nears, but until then, each venue reflects its own collective judgment of likely scorelines.
