On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective assessment of all active traders at any given moment. As new information emerges—such as player form, head-to-head records, or court conditions—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date expectations about who will win.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner will be determined by the official result of the match. Until that time, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as odds fluctuate based on new developments and shifting expectations.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and player rankings often influence expectations. Court surface preference, injury status, and pre-match statements can trigger rapid repricing. Momentum from earlier rounds in the competition may also sway the market. Additionally, any changes in player fitness or unexpected withdrawals would prompt immediate recalibration of odds as traders reassess the likely outcome.
