This market assesses whether specific wide receivers will rank among the top five in fantasy points during Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season, using a full-point-per-reception scoring system that includes all eligible players, regardless of market listing.
Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the named wide receiver finishes within the top five in total full-PPR fantasy points for all wide receivers in Week 3 of the 2026 NFL regular season. Rankings are determined using Sleeper's official scoring system, which includes passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, and defensive statistics. Players who do not participate in the week are considered to have scored zero points. In the event of a tie at the qualifying position, contracts for all tied players settle at an equal fraction (1/N, where N is the number of tied players). All markets share identical scoring rules and tiebreaker procedures, with no exceptions between individual player markets.
Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts regarding player performance expectations.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the probability of each wide receiver being a top 5 performer. The price of a contract reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective assessment of the market. The closer we get to Week 3, the more these prices will likely converge as more information becomes available and uncertainty decreases.
This market resolves around Sep 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final Week 3 fantasy football statistics are verifiable from credible public reporting. The top 5 wide receivers, as determined by standard fantasy football scoring (PPR), will be used to determine which contracts pay out. The resolution will be based on official fantasy football data sources and will reflect the actual performance of players during Week 3 of the NFL season.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Injury reports are a major driver, as the potential absence of a key wide receiver will likely shift probabilities. News regarding player matchups, offensive scheme changes, or even weather forecasts can also influence trading activity. Unexpected developments in player performance during the early games of Week 3 could create rapid price movements as traders react to the unfolding events. Any significant news related to the health or expected role of key players will be closely watched.
