These markets determine which wide receiver accumulates the most fantasy points in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL season using Sleeper's full-PPR scoring system. The scoring includes points from passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, and defensive performances, with specific values assigned to yards, touchdowns, and other statistical achievements.
Each market resolves based on whether the specified player finishes highest in total full-PPR fantasy points among all wide receivers in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season. Points are calculated using Sleeper's default full-PPR scoring, which awards points for passing, rushing, receiving, kicking, and defensive performances. If the player does not participate in the week, they are considered to have scored zero points. In the event of a tie for the highest score among eligible players, the market resolves to 1/N, where N is the number of players tied, and no holder receives the full $1 payout minus the Yes payout. All players, including those without a listed market, are ranked, and player-group membership is determined by Sleeper at the time of expiration.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than those set by sportsbooks. Sportsbooks establish lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market represents the aggregated predictions of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply variations in how each assesses the likelihood of a particular outcome. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook odds, especially as new information becomes available and trading volume increases.
This market resolves around Sep 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official fantasy points totals awarded to each wide receiver in Week 1 of the NFL season, as calculated by a major fantasy sports provider. The player with the highest total fantasy points will be declared the winner of this market. The final outcome will be determined based on official statistics and scoring rules, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries, changes in team lineups, or even weather forecasts could all cause shifts in trader sentiment. A key player being ruled out with an injury would likely boost the odds of other receivers. Pre-game reports on matchups and expected playing time could also influence trading activity. Furthermore, any significant news related to quarterback performance or offensive strategies could move this market as traders adjust their predictions based on the latest information.
