Prices for this market may differ between Polymarket and Kalshi due to a variety of factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has its own user base, trading dynamics, and fee structure, all of which can influence price discovery. Furthermore, differing levels of liquidity on each platform can create temporary price discrepancies. The volume traded on Polymarket may be higher, leading to a more efficient price, while Kalshi might experience greater volatility due to lower participation. These differences are normal and contribute to the overall robustness of the prediction market ecosystem.
