This event group resolves to whichever team finishes in second place in Group F of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage (June 11–27, 2026). The markets track individual country outcomes (Sweden, Japan, Netherlands, Tunisia) plus catch-all options for ties or other scenarios, with resolution tied to official FIFA standings and tiebreak procedures.
This market will resolve according to the team that finishes second in Group F in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026. If multiple teams tie for second place, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no second-place team declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Prediction markets like Polymarket and Predict typically reflect real-time crowd sentiment and are updated continuously as new information emerges. Traditional sportsbooks adjust odds less frequently and build in larger margins. For Group F second place, prediction market odds often diverge from sportsbook lines because traders react faster to team news, injury reports, and qualifying-round results. Comparing the two can reveal arbitrage opportunities or signal where sharp money is moving ahead of official sportsbook adjustments.
Key catalysts include team roster announcements, qualifying-round upsets or dominant performances, and injury updates to star players in Group F. Tactical shifts, coaching changes, and pre-tournament friendlies provide early form signals. As the tournament approaches, each group match result directly reshapes second-place odds. Late-stage developments like player suspensions or surprise team selections can swing markets sharply. Monitor official FIFA communications and team news feeds for real-time impact on Group F positioning.
