These markets resolve based on which team finishes in second place in Group D of the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage (June 11-27, 2026). The event group covers multiple outcome options: Australia, USA, Türkiye, Paraguay, and a catch-all 'Other' category for any remaining possibilities or cancellation scenarios.
This market will resolve according to the team that finishes second in Group D in the 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage, scheduled for June 11-27, 2026. If multiple teams tie for second place, this market will resolve according to the official tiebreak procedure of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. If the World Cup group stage is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no second-place team declared for this group within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

Key catalysts include team roster announcements, injury updates to star players, and qualifying match results that confirm Group D composition. Pre-tournament friendlies and training camp reports shape trader expectations about team form. During the group stage itself, each match result directly impacts standings and second-place odds. Tactical shifts, managerial changes, and head-to-head outcomes between Group D rivals will drive significant price movements. Weather conditions, referee assignments, and late-breaking news closer to kickoff can also influence market sentiment and trading volume.
